Our Path

Steuerboard began as a small software project in mid-2023. The goal was to simplify collaboration between tax firm and client.

One of the biggest problems in the industry is the shortage of skilled workers.

We quickly realized that our software relieves employees and reduces the time required for repetitive, detailed tasks in everyday life.

The client feedback was also overwhelming. A nearly one-hundred-percent collaboration through an online platform offers many advantages for the clients of the tax firm and creates transparency and comfort.

Meanwhile, thousands of companies are being serviced via Steuerboard, and growth is increasing significantly. From solo operators to tax firms with hundreds of employees - Steuerboard is increasingly becoming an everyday tool.

Adjacent professional groups, such as auditing and law, are also increasingly part of our client base.

We have built a stable foundation and proven that we follow good ideas with action and, above all, solutions.

But this is just the beginning.

What Comes Next?

In the near future, we will mainly focus on the following topics.

1. Automation using Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence is changing our everyday lives, and there is no dispute that there are enormous potentials and entire industries are being disrupted.

We will automate simple to complex processes with decision trees. So simple that anyone can use them - without technical know-how.

2. Integrations with many additional systems

Steuerboard can already be connected to the most important tax firm systems and interfaces with just a few clicks. We will offer many more integrations that increasingly involve the systems of the clients.

This greatly facilitates the technical connection of clients, creates a seamless data flow, and enables automation processes at the interface of various systems.

3. Customer Success

Our commitment is clear: We want to lead those who work with us to success - regardless of what challenges they are currently facing.

Every day, we gather new insights and develop best practices that are of great use to many. Because in practice, it shows: Most hurdles are similar - and can be efficiently overcome with the right solutions.

With the fresh capital, we will specifically expand our Customer Success team to be even closer to the needs of our users, react faster, and create real added value. Because in the end, what matters most to us: the measurable progress of those who place their trust in us.

Roland Fassauer

Roland is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor with over 50 investments in innovative startups. His focus is on topics such as B2B SaaS, AI, infrastructure, education, and research. He brings very valuable experience in the Fin-Tech and Tax-Tech areas as an angel.
